Alger Equipment Co., Inc. was incorporated in 1967. We manufacture both the ALGER-LITE, a remote controlled ceiling mounted operating light; and the ALGERBRUSH II , a corneal rust ring remover. Both products have been on the market for over 30 years.

The ALGER-LITE has been a popular substitute for the conventional dental operating light for those practitioners who desire to have a "clean" open appearance to their office. Many hospital birthing units also use it. The ALGER-LITE was invented by Dr. David Alger in 1965.

The ALGERBRUSH II is the worldwide standard for corneal rust ring removers. Ophthalmologists, optometrists, and ER physicians use the ALGERBRUSH II . The ALGERBRUSH II was invented by Dr. L.J. Alger, an ophthalmologist, in 1970.
